Mexican Amate Bark Paper

Hand Crafted Woven Paper / Brown

Made from the bark of the Amate, Nettle and Mulberry trees, Amate weave paper with its large weave make it quite amazing. It is handmade from the bark fibers pressed in a large grid pattern giving it that unique look. This paper will vary in weight shape, color and pattern with no two sheets of paper being the same. This acid free paper is perfect for layering as an embellishment for your Quilled art cards and gifts.

Note: this paper is not recommended for Quilling paper strips and should not be cut and used for the traditional paper shapes it will not act the same as regular Quilling paper will. It is recommended in the enhancement of your Quilling art and craft projects.
